Your quality custom picture frame is designed at the framing table in our showroom and then handcrafted, with care, by our skilled team of framers in our workshop.
Each member of our team shares a passion for the arts through either the visual arts, photography or creating bespoke timber products through carpentry. They know their job and treat your work as if it were their own.
Our business has been recognised for excellence in our contribution to the ARTS as well as excellence in small business management. We are winners in the Tweed Shire Council Business in Excellence Awards, 2017 and 2018.

Rex and Jen came from Country South Australia in 2010 for a sea change.
From a rich history in horticulture, viticulture and wine making, Rex soon decided that here, on the coast, it was either self employed or unemployed. Rex has a great history of being a creative, whether it be with building and handcrafting timber, growing plants, making wine or enjoying the rich arts culture of the Limestone Coast. He now combines his skills and talents with his profound business knowledge to be of service to others here on the coast with their artistic and framing needs.
Jen has a long career in teaching, working in all facets, but mostly contributing to the arts through the teaching of music and visual arts. She has also been a successful exhibitor in both art and photography in South Australia and gathered many prizes over the years for her work. As a qualified Children’s portrait photographer, her work can be seen in many homes across South Australia where her business, Jens Lens, thrived. To be able to combine her creativity with Interior Design and Picture Framing, Jen feels she has her dream job.
In 2010 the energetic couple purchased COASTAL FRAMING AND DESIGN and remain in the same location, other than relocating to 5/25 Industry Drive, next door, in 2016. The development of a state of the art showroom, workshop and print studio was a milestone in their achievements.
With a life long passion for the ARTS, and enjoying the creative side of life, Jen and Rex continue to share their love of art through the rich arts culture that is found here in the Northern Rivers. Through offering their expertise in design, photography, mentoring and providing excellent customer service, they continue to enrich the community with their passionate contribution.
